From First Class to High-Level Competitions - proven system is the key.

A clear pathway for every gymnast — from age 2.5 to competitive development:

At OK Rhythmic Empire, a child can begin rhythmic gymnastics as early as 2.5 years old and continue progressing through recreational, pre-team, and competitive programs within the same school.
Start at Any Age — No Previous Experience Required
Our program is designed so that every gymnast can develop at her own pace. Some children simply want to stay active, improve flexibility and coordination, and enjoy gymnastics. Others eventually choose a more serious competitive pathway.
There is a place for both.

Ages 2.5–4 — Level 1
This is where the journey can begin.
Our Toddlers program introduces young children to rhythmic gymnastics in a fun, positive, and age-appropriate way.
Gymnasts begin learning:
-
coordination and balance;
-
flexibility and basic strength;
-
body awareness;
-
rhythm and movement;
-
basic work with rhythmic gymnastics apparatus;
-
how to listen to the coach and follow instructions;
-
confidence and independence in a class environment.
Classes are 60 minutes.

Ages 4–6 — Level 1 & Level 2
As children become older and more comfortable in the gym, they move into our structured beginner program.

Level 2 classes are 90 minutes and allow more time for flexibility, conditioning, apparatus work, coordination, dance, and rhythmic gymnastics technique.
For many children ages 4–6, Level 2 becomes the natural next step.

Ages 7+ — XCEL Program
Our XCEL Program is a flexible rhythmic gymnastics pathway for girls ages 7 and older. It is a great place for beginners to start, but it can also grow with the gymnast as her skills and goals develop.
XCEL gymnasts may choose to train recreationally without competing, or they may participate in competitions if they are interested and ready.
For beginners, XCEL focuses on:
-
flexibility and overall physical conditioning;
-
strength, posture, coordination, and balance;
-
basic rhythmic gymnastics technique;
-
apparatus skills;
-
dance and body movement;
-
confidence and healthy physical development.
Recreational or Competitive — Your Choice

Pre-Team & Level 3 (ages 6+) — Beginning the Competitive Pathway
For gymnasts who want to take rhythmic gymnastics more seriously, the next step is usually Pre-Team or Level 3.
Children may begin this pathway from approximately age 6, depending on their physical abilities, readiness, previous experience, and coach evaluation.
Level 3 is where our formal competition pathway begins.
Competitive gymnasts start working more seriously on:
-
flexibility;
-
strength and conditioning;
-
body difficulty;
-
leaps, balances and rotations;
-
apparatus technique;
-
dance and artistry;
-
individual routines;
-
competition preparation.

Level 3 Class Structure:
A regular Level 3 practice is 2 hours long.
The program also includes 30 minutes of professional classical ballet, helping gymnasts develop posture, lines, balance, musicality, coordination, and overall body control.
Competitive Team Requirement
To participate as a member of our Competitive Team, Level 3 gymnasts are required to train a minimum of 2 practices per week.
Some gymnasts choose to train 3 times per week as they become more serious about their development and competition goals.
Pre-Team / Non-Competitive Level 3 (ages 6+)
Our Pre-Team / Non-Competitive Level 3 option is designed for gymnasts who:
-
are just beginning more advanced training;
-
are not yet ready to attend twice per week;
-
cannot commit to two practices per week;
-
want to develop Level 3 skills without competing;
-
or simply prefer a non-competitive pathway.
Depending on the gymnast’s age, ability, experience, and individual needs, Pre-Team / Non-Competitive Level 3 athletes may train together with the Competitive Level 3 group or in a separate group.
This placement is determined by our coaching team based on what we believe will provide the best environment and fastest, healthiest progress for each gymnast.
A gymnast may later transition from Pre-Team / Non-Competitive Level 3 into the Competitive Team when she is ready and able to meet the training requirements.
